One battery. Plan it around your application.

Each estimate below uses 1280Wh × 85%. Actual runtime varies. These are buying contexts, not different battery variants or guaranteed compatibility.

Trolling Motor

Plan around actual motor draw, not thrust alone. A 300W average load gives about 3.6 hours using an illustrative 85% factor. Check motor voltage, surge requirements, fuse, cable length and a compatible LiFePO4 charger.

Trolling Motor planning guide →

RV

Budget lights, water pump, fans, refrigerator controls and USB devices. A 100W average house load estimates 10.88 hours at 85%. Check converter profiles, solar controller and DC-DC charging; account for inverter losses.

RV planning guide →

Marine

Plan electronics, lighting and pumps separately from engine starting. A 50W average house load estimates 21.76 hours at 85%. Protect terminals against moisture and corrosion, secure the battery and follow marine wiring and charging requirements.

Marine planning guide →

Solar

Begin with 1280Wh nominal, then allow losses and reserve. A 200W load estimates 5.44 hours at 85%. Recharge time depends on actual panel yield and charging losses, not panel nameplate watts alone. Use a compatible controller.

Solar planning guide →

Off-grid

Add daily watt-hours across all devices and leave a recharge margin. A 400W average load estimates 2.72 hours at 85%. Size the inverter, conductors and protection for the full circuit. Expansion limits are not asserted.

Off-grid planning guide →

Home Backup

Support selected compatible low-power loads, not an entire home. A 100W combined load estimates 10.88 hours at 85%. Do not backfeed household wiring. Building integration requires suitable equipment and a qualified installer.

Estimate your runtime

Start with your average load. This planning estimate is not a runtime guarantee.

Nominal: 1280 Wh · Adjusted: 1088 Wh · Estimated runtime: 10.88 hours at 100 W.

Wh = volts × Ah. Adjusted Wh = Wh × factor / 100. Runtime = adjusted Wh ÷ load watts. The 85% factor is illustrative, not a measured efficiency rating; account for losses and reserve once, not twice. Actual runtime varies with load, temperature, wiring, inverter efficiency and battery condition. This tool does not establish voltage, current or wiring compatibility.

Before you buy

Confirm your equipment voltage, continuous and startup draw, charger profile, mounting clearance, cable run and circuit protection. ZM12100 is a deep-cycle energy-storage battery, not an engine-starting battery.

Frequently asked questions

How much energy does this battery store?

1280Wh nominal energy: 12.8V × 100Ah. Usable energy at your equipment depends on losses, operating conditions and reserve.

What is the maximum continuous discharge?

100A. Check the complete circuit, connections and equipment requirements; the battery rating is not a cable or fuse sizing recommendation.

What does 300A / 3 seconds mean?

This is the published short-duration peak current, not a continuous operating rating or an engine-starting rating.

How much does it weigh?

10.3kg, approximately 22.7lb.

What are the dimensions?

327 × 170 × 218mm (L × W × H), approximately 12.87 × 6.69 × 8.58in. Allow additional clearance for terminals, cables and secure mounting.

Is it IP65 tested?

Yes. Exact-model testing records IP6X dust and IPX5 water-jet tests as PASS.

Is it waterproof?

IP65 describes dust and water-jet protection in the tested configuration. It is not an immersion rating. Keep terminals protected and do not submerge the battery.

Is the complete battery UL certified?

The evidence is a test report to ANSI/CAN/UL 2743:2023. It does not establish UL certification or listing of the complete battery.

What safety testing is documented?

The ZM12100 report records ANSI/CAN/UL 2743:2023 testing, enclosure material information, mechanical tests and low-temperature charging observations. Full test documentation is available upon request.

Does charging stop near freezing?

Charge cutoff behavior was observed around 0°C during exact-model testing. Charge only within 0°C to 50°C; this observation does not establish all BMS thresholds or a self-heating feature.

Can I use it with a trolling motor?

For compatible 12V deep-cycle systems, check actual motor current, startup demand, battery requirements, fuse, wiring and charger. Thrust alone does not establish compatibility.

Can I use it in an RV?

It can support compatible 12V house loads. Verify your converter, solar controller, DC-DC charging equipment and inverter requirements; not every lead-acid installation is a direct replacement.

Can I use it for solar?

Use a LiFePO4-compatible controller and plan a 1280Wh nominal daily energy budget with losses and reserve. No external series/parallel expansion capability is asserted.

Can it start a boat engine?

ZM12100 is presented for deep-cycle house loads and compatible trolling-motor use, not engine starting.

What charger should I use?

Use a compatible LiFePO4 charger with the approved 14.6V charge voltage. Standard charge current is 20A; maximum charge current is 100A. Check charger compatibility and installation ratings before use.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are fulfilled from our U.S. warehouse. Processing typically takes 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery is 5–10 business days after shipment. Tracking is provided after shipment; the carrier varies by destination and lithium battery shipping requirements.

Is shipping free?

Free shipping within the contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, APO/FPO and PO Boxes are not supported. See the Shipping Policy.

What warranty is included?

A 1-Year Limited Warranty. Read the Warranty page for coverage and the claim process.
